Why non-porous?
Traditional sensors fail because process chemicals diffuse through the porous junction and poison the Ag/AgCl reference. REFEX™ replaces it with an ion-conductive, non-porous polymeric barrier.

At ~80 °C, H₂S blocks and ammonia/cyanide poison traditional references within days. The non-porous REFEX™ barrier is impermeable to these process chemicals.
